This winter, Children Now hosted its annual Snow Camp, giving 80 children aged 10 to 12 from underprivileged communities the chance to experience the joy of winter in one of Quebec’s most beautiful snowy landscapes.
Over three days, the children took part in outdoor adventures like tubing, sledding, hiking, and snowshoeing—many for the very first time. Alongside all the fun, they were provided with warm winter gear, including boots, mittens, hats, scarves, and sleeping bags, as well as essentials like soap, toothbrushes, and books to take home.
These moments not only brought laughter and connection but also contributed to the children’s well-being and development. None of this would have been possible without the support of our generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and the Domaine Scout St-Louis-de-France. Thank you for helping us create cherished winter memories and for making sure every child feels valued and included.
We invite you to watch the video below for a peek at all the winter fun they experienced!
