A Wonderful Snow Camp for 80 Underprivileged Children

This year, 80 underprivileged children aged between 10 and 12 years old had the wonderful opportunity to participate in our fun winter camps.

For children residing in Quebec City, the Snow Camp took place from February 4 to 6th, 2020 at the Centre de plein air le Saisonnier in Lac Beauport. For children from Montreal, the Snow Camp took place February 25 to 27, 2020 at the Camp Grandpré in Otterburn Park.

For three days, the children participated in numerous fun activities that many experienced for the first time such as tubing, skating, sledding, playing broom ball, making snow castles, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, making camp fires, winter camping, hiking and identifying animal tracks. The children, aged between 10 and 12, were lodged in an extraordinary rural setting with beautiful facilities. They received three hot meals and snacks daily. Moreover, they left with many useful gifts including winter boots, gloves, hats, pillows, sleeping bags, and soccer balls.

We want to thank all of our loyal partners and donors who made this day possible. We are convinced that these children will keep the memory of this stay with them for a very long time!
