This past summer, Children Now organized 6 summer camp groups at Camp Domaine Scout St-Louis-de-France for a total of 200 children from underprivileged homes.
The children were able to enjoy many activities such as canoeing, swimming, climbing, treasure hunting, campfire making, and forest hikes. By having fun in nature, these children had the opportunity to develop a sense of belonging and self-esteem whilst making new friends. They also received many useful gifts such as clothing, masks, a flashlight, a sleeping bag, a pillow, a soccer ball, a cap, soap, and a Leadership Now book.
It was truly a special experience that we are convinced they will remember throughout their lifetime.
