Over the course of three days, children aged between 10 to 12 years old dive into a world of winter activities many have never had the chance to try. Their days are filled with fun and discovery — from tubing, skating, sledding, broom ball, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, to making campfires, snow castles, and learning to identify animal tracks in the forest.

Throughout their stay, the children receive three hot meals a day along with snacks to keep them nourished and energized. To make sure they stay warm long after camp ends, each child also receives essential winter gear: boots, hats, scarves, mittens, and a sleeping bag, plus personal care items, books, games, and more — all made possible through the generosity of our partners and sponsors.

Every year, the Snow Camps offer local children a chance to experience joy, adventure, and the simple magic of being a kid in winter. Your support makes this possible.

Below are different sponsorship options and what they provide for the children:

• $25 - 75: Meals and snacks for 1 child

• $100 - 200: Winter clothing, sleeping bag, meals and snacks

• $250: Meals, snacks, sleeping bag and lodging

• $300: Sponsorship for 1 child*

*Every additional $300 pays for the sponsorship of another child.

**We combine donations to offer all children a complete experience of our Snow Camps.

In addition, for every donation that we receive, a portion will go directly into the Leadership Now program; a program that aims to provide youth with sustainable leadership skills so that they may develop the necessary tools they need to have success in their future social, civic and academic lives. Some of the core-components of the program are; the importance of teamwork, leadership, emotional intelligence, and decision-making. A wide variety of topics are covered in the program including bullying, violence, street gangs, school dropouts, health, the importance of sports, the environment and how to succeed in high school.
