This winter camp is a fun and educational way for underprivileged children to experience what privileged children do on a regular basis. During three days, the children, aged between 10 and 12 years old, will have the opportunity to experience many outdoor activities in nature. Their stay will be filled with fun activities that many will be experiencing for the first time such as tubing, skating, sledding, playing broom ball, making snow castles, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, making camp fires, winter camping, hiking and identifying animal tracks. Of course, the children will receive three plentiful, hot meals and snacks daily.

Moreover, during this camp, we give the children winter clothing such as boots, scarves, hats, mittens, and a sleeping bag to keep them warm all winter long. All these items as well as shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, books, games and more will be given to them during their stay thanks to the help our generous sponsors.

The Snow Camp allows them to enjoy the pleasures of winter and live unforgettable moments they otherwise would never have experienced. Below are different sponsorship options and what they provide for the children:

• $25 - 75: Meals and snacks for 1 child

• $100 - 200: Winter clothing, sleeping bag, meals and snacks

• $250: Meals, snacks, sleeping bag and lodging

• $300: Sponsorship for 1 child*

*Every additional $300 pays for the sponsorship of another child.

**We combine donations to offer all children a complete experience of our Snow Camps.

In addition, for every donation that we receive, a portion will go directly into the Leadership Now program; a program that aims to provide youth with sustainable leadership skills so that they may develop the necessary tools they need to have success in their future social, civic and academic lives. Some of the core-components of the program are; the importance of teamwork, leadership, emotional intelligence, and decision-making. A wide variety of topics are covered in the program including bullying, violence, street gangs, school dropouts, health, the importance of sports, the environment and how to succeed in high school.
