Once again, Children Now organized several wonderful summer camps for children from low income families, allowing the most impoverished kids, aged 10 -12 years, the opportunity to experience summer vacations worthy of a happy childhood.
Under the supervision of experienced monitors, the children benefited from many activities. Rarely exposed to nature, the children participated in several thrilling activities from which they would otherwise be excluded. By playing in the nature, the children developed a sense of belonging and self-esteem. They also made a lot of friends.
Children Now would particularly like to address the participation of the Fédération de Soccer du Québec, who was implicated in the activities of Children Now by giving soccer demonstrations and teaching healthy lifestyle habits, respect through sport, values inherent to soccer, and this in everyday life.
